We have made entering fast and easy by making all the procedure online. Your digital entry takes place in two stages and is free of charge.
If you need help at any stage of your entry please contact us and we can email you back. In order for us to give you all the assistance you might need, please don't leave your entry to the last minute.

1 Rules and Conditions for Submission:

• For 2A Asian Architectural Award, the purpose of the Prize is to detect and highlight contemporary urban, landscape and architectural works in Asia whose innovative characters act as an orientation or even a manifesto in Searching for an Asian Spirit in Architecture and contribute a new direction and order for Asian cities and architecture. Please refer to the awards' details.

Note: Rules and conditions, categories and etc. for registration and submission of 2A Europe Architecture Award 2017 are the same [similar to] 2A Asia Architecture Award 2017.

• The nominated projects of The First Stage Entry will be notified by email as well as will be announced at the News part of the website (only the respective entry codes of the first-stage nominated projects) on August 1st, 2017 to participate in Second Stage.
• Entry is open to all professional entrants, i.e., Individual architects, multi-professional teams, urban designers, urban planners, landscape architects.
• Other associated bodies, e.g., clients, developers, contractors, may also enter on behalf of the architect, with their consent.
• All projects should have been completed on or after 01 January 2010. For Future Projects / Innovative Design sub category entries, the design dates should not be older than 2010.
• All Projects should have been built / located in one of the Asian and European countries.
• There is no limit on the number of submitted projects.
• Participants can submit multiple projects under one website account, however each project should submit as a separate entry.
• Each project can be applied only to a single category of the award.
• To be recognized as an eligible candidate, projects should be submitted under respective categories.
• Winner projects of the 2AAA 2015 and 2016 are not eligible to participate in 2A Asia Architecture Award 2017 .
• The First Stage Entry opens on June 1, 2017 and closes on July 5, 2017 for 2ANAA, July 10, 2017 for 2AEAA and July 15, 2017 for 2AAA.
• Second stage submission due (for first-stage nominated projects) will be announced subsequently.
• The Second Stage Entry boards should be submitted online by paying respective print fee.

To make your First Stage Entry, please follow these steps:

2 Your First Stage Entry starts with creating a website account. For that you should complete the registration form and click "Register" button. You will than see a message confirming your registration and will be automatically referred to your Entry page to start your submission.

3 To Submit your project, login to your 2ACAA account, using your email and password. Once logged in, you will be referred to your Submission Dashboard where you can submit your entry using the " New Entry" button on the right side of the page.

4 Use the drop-down menus to select the relevant category- remember you can submit each project just into one related category.

5 Fill out the online form to give us your project information and description.

6 Entry Documents:
Fill out the online form to give us the project information and description and Upload required materials as indicated below:
• Two A2 entry board designs in Adobe Acrobat PDF Format and landscape lay out - 594mm (wide) x 420mm (high).
• 1 x high resolution picture of the lead architect(s).

Board artwork contents:

• Entry board artwork must include:
• A minimum of 5 photographs of the project (Exterior/Interior/Details/Landscape...) in either color or black and white (NOT visualizations unless a future project/innovative design).
• A minimum of 3 architectural documents (site plan/ floor plans/ key sections..).
• A maximum 120 words description in English: A short explanatory text describing the project and how the practice addresses the judging criteria (The same description that has been inserted in the project description box).

• Entry boards artwork must be sized for A2 boards in landscape lay out - 594mm (wide) x 420mm (high).
• All texts should be in English.
• To ensure anonymity in judging, no names of entrants or collaborating parties or any other form of identification may appear on any part of the board artwork.
• One or both entry boards should include: project title, project location, category, and the completion date properly declared. For a future project/innovative design entry, instead of completion date, design year(s) should be indicated.
• Maximum upload of 8MB for two boards.
• The resolution of two boards and all images inside should not be less than screen resolution.


• In case of any identification mark on any of two entry boards, the entry will be rejected.
• Please ensure that you are authorized to use all images.
• Please ensure that the category indicated in your board is the same as the one you have chosen in the on-line submission form.
• The information submitted in your online entry may be used on both award website and 2A magazine website.
• By submitting the boards you consent to us using them in conjunction with the event and our media partners for online and editorial coverage.
• The names and addresses of private residential clients will not be published.
• Personal information submitted in entrants’ 2ACAA account will not be published.

7 Once you have completed your uploads, please click ''Submit'' to complete your submission.

8 A Code will be assigned to your submitted entry and will be sent to your provided email. This code is your Entry ID.

9 Please note that Submitted Entries cannot be edited, changed or cancelled after submission.

10 Your submission status (On process/ Rejected / Approved) will be shown in your Submission Dashboard. "On process" means the entry is under review for eligibility. The status will change to either "Approved" or "Rejected" in 4 days time after submission date. While "Approved" means the entry is eligible for participation in the competition, "Rejected" means that the entry has not been accepted for participating due to in completion of submitted documents, irrelevance of submitted category, marks of identification on the boards or other non-compliance with competition rules.

11 Being approved for entering the competition is subject to submit all the materials indicated in Clauses 4-7 and comply with all conditions indicated in Clause 1 and 6.
